Stephanie is an experienced instrumental brass teacher, teaching both privately and in schools. She has worked for Ealing Music service and currently teaches at George Eliot Primary School and St Marylebone C of E School. She has been brass tutor at St Marylebone since April 2012 where she teaches pupils trumpet, trombone, french horn and euphonium and runs a brass ensemble that plays her own arrangements of popular tunes of today’s charts, as well as the old classics.

Stephanie teaches all standards of every brass instrument privately to all  ages, specialising in trombone. She tailors lessons to the specific goals of each pupil, working through Jazz and classical ABRSM grades or just playing for fun working and through pieces which will engage and challenge the individual to ensure progress and enjoyment of their instrument.

She also tutors ABRSM music theory, for those who want to pass their grade 5 done or to those who want to study right up to grade 8 theory. Extra help for GCSE and A level music is available – especially handy for those struggling with Bach chorals, counterpoint, composition or music analysis!
